We stepped into the story-rich walls of Tate Block Vintage & Antiques, where owner Morgan Jackson showed us how passion, persistence, and vision can transform forgotten spaces into thriving hubs of creativity and community.
Morgan and her husband started by flipping storage unit finds, estate sale gems, and auction treasures — eventually signing papers the same day they inquired about the 1916 building that now houses Tate Block. They sold their home, made sacrifices, and pursued their vision to bring life back into a space with more than a century of history.
What made this visit truly special was Morgan’s openness to feedback. She asked us — a group of high school leaders and entrepreneurs — for ideas to improve their website, social media, and use of additional building space. It’s inspiring to see local business owners valuing the voices of youth and trusting that the next generation can influence real business decisions.
Morgan didn’t just talk business, she also left us with something deeper: a mindset shift. She reminded us to check our paradigm, protect our energy, and believe in the power of positivity and repetition.
“That good energy is going to bring success.”
