Business Visit Spotlight: Memorial Health Systems

Dickinson County CEO students had the opportunity to visit Memorial Health Systems, where they connected with leaders and gained insight into the inner workings of the health care industry.

Harold Courtois, Chief Executive Officer, discussed the wide range of careers beyond doctors and nurses. Highlighting the importance of communication, he introduced students to tools like the daily “Huddle”—a practice used to improve team communication and keep operations running smoothly.

Angie Johnson, Chief Nursing Officer, shared her career journey and provided insights into the importance of organizational leadership, self-care, and process efficiencies. Angie also led a tour of the hospital, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at the various departments and demonstrating how technology supports emergency care and enhances patient outcomes.

Thank you to Memorial Health Systems for investing in our students and opening the doors to real-world learning experiences!
