A Message from Craig Lindvahl: It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
But it is.
And that’s all I have to say about that. I hope you’ll understand if I don’t spend a single second thinking about wishing this hadn’t happened. I have cancer, and it ain’t great. I can’t control that. It’s been growing in my body for a couple of years, and I can’t do anything about that-it already happened. What I can do, though, is decide how I’m going to approach the fight.
I can decide how to best teach from my experience, and I can devote my energy into helping others be better while it’s going on.
In other words, nothing is really different. Would you re-read the last paragraph? Can you understand that it applies to every day? It’s a conscious decision to teach and live a life beyond oneself no matter the circumstance.
As we navigate this new challenge together, I’ll share what I’m learning. I’ll challenge you to think about your own life and challenge you to start every day with the question, “Who will be better today because of me?”
I’ll leave you today with a scientific explanation of our approach to this fight, courtesy of Mark Drone, a fabulous teacher and friend:
