CEO Entrepreneur Graduates

Hannah Marie Kay Ashby is the daughter of Angie Ashby and Jack Ashby. She has two brothers, Brayton, 23, and Kyle, 17. For the past four years of Hannah's academic career, she has been heavily involved in the Indiana State Beta Club as the Indiana State Beta President. Hannah has also been involved as a member of the Washington DECA Chapter, National Honors Society, Advanced Choir, and Blue-Chip Academic Bowl teams. She has been class president all four years of her high school career and was also chosen as the Washington Catholic HOBY Delegate, Hoosier Girls State Delegate, and the Congressman Larry Buschon Student Leadership Summit Delegate. Along with her many extracurricular activities at school, she has started her own small business, Forever Faithful, through the Daviess County CEO program. Forever Faithful makes personalized jewelry and accessories inspired by the Christian faith. She as even a CEO of the Daviess County CEO class business, "An Evening With Young Entrepreneurs," where she oversaw the various committees. While she served as a leader through her CEO program, she also served as a leader on various fields and courts, for she was a team captain of the varsity soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and track teams. While much of her time is spent through her activities at school, she also stays busy within her community. Hannah has been a member of the Daviess County Community Foundation Youth Council, Daviess County Local Coordinating Council, and the Kids Fighting Cancer Relay for Life Tea. She has also been a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where she has been a Chairman of the Leadership Committee for the Fields of Faith event that is held every fall. Additionally, Hannah has taken dance classes for fifteen years in tap, jazz, and ballet. Along with dance, Hannah has also been involved in the fine arts as a soloist in the ISSMA competition. While Hannah enjoys partaking in many activities, her true passion lies in serving others. Hannah has started her own non-profit organization, Hannah's Helping Hands, that has taken up multiple collections for those in need. She is also a first grade religious education teacher for her parish, Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Coinciding with her passion for helping others to find Christ, Hannah was a coordinator of the Encountering Chris Religious Retreat held over spring break. She has been a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Youth Council and has even gone on the March for Life in Washington D.C., with her diocese. This fall, Hannah will be attending Butler University to double major in marketing and accounting in the Lacey Schoo of Business. She also plans to minor in political science with a pre-law track. It is her hope to practice business law in the future.
